PURPOSE

  • Subject Matter Expert - Business Acumen
  • Participation in Strategic and tactical projects. May act as Business Work stream leader
  • Participation & Leadership in best practices analysis, business scope definition, business requirement, testing and implementation
  • Responsible for tactical/change projects, contribute in strategic project
  • Best practices analysis / implementation
  • Provide support  & guidance to the production team, elaborate with them change process
  • Develop expertise and coach junior SMEs.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

SECTION 1 - Operational Excellence

  • Support integration and change projects requiring application and Fund Taxes business knowledge
  • Business Enhancement owner on Fund Taxes given applications. Propose initiatives and enhancements priorities.
  • Responsible for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the support to both Operations and Projects as Subject Matter Expert
  • Validating the planning and action plan (made with PMs) for the Fund Taxes resources of an initiative as well as the needed capacities to meet this plan
  • Contribute when necessary in client service and sales opportunities as required
  • Establish an environment of continuous improvement and change management that assesses workflows, processes and systems evolution on an ongoing basis, ensuring maximum efficiency and quality for the end user
  • Participate from the initial stage and as a business senior expert in the scope and priorities definitions for a project. Provide expertise support for the business requirements; participate in the testing and implementation of required developments.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to enhance our service and value proposition for clients
  • Actively support global operating model for activities under responsibilities
  • Propose clear quality and performance indicators related to the activity

SECTION 2 - Relationship and Communication

  • Responsible for the efficiency of the communication channel between Fund Taxes daily operations and the analysts related to system support, the IT, and the project managers.
  • Provide Support to the Fund Taxes Management through regular and ad hoc communication
  • Ensure collaborative relationship across jurisdictional, functional and cultural boundaries
  • Organize regular process and system review within the team, aim for constant improvement and optimization

SECTION 3 -  Managerial Excellence

  • Ensure the efficiency coordination of the allocated resources
  • Ensure business stakeholders understand change in processes & systems
  • Ensure at any steps to provide clear and concise business supporting documentation to the decision makers
  • Accept and successfully execute change while supporting employees through the processes being accountable of the smooth introduction of processes/enhancements  into the live/production environments
  • Identify and share development and training needs in collaboration with the Fund Taxes Managers
  • Build on the knowledge and skills of the team by communicating/training efficiently on new processes, enhancements, developments, systems
  • Ensure systematic efficient orientation around Development Costs Vs Savings or Quality improvement
  • Ensure systematic self assessment of the development requests as System and/or Business expert

  • Operating system/application is part of a platform deployed globally. This  function has an impact on multiple locations and multiple clients
  • Responsible for design of the business requirement documentation and the review/challenge / test of the proposed related IT solution
  • Responsible for the support of daily operations as System and/or Business senior expert for activities under responsibilities

Participation Rights

  • Design / Control & Propose for validation the scope and business requirement documentation and the review / challenge / test of the proposed related IT solution
  • Participation in the Operational teams Training related to System Enhancements/Developments

Accountabilities

  • Accountable for the efficiency of proposed solutions related to each Project / System Enhancement
  • Accountable to ensure adequate management/communication around process interdependencies and relationship between multiple stakeholders and locations

 Position Competencies/Requirements/Experience

  • Superior/Relevant Educational Background (IT/Finance)
  • Mandatory English and German Languages (Written/Oral) proficiency, French is a plus
